Throughout my life , ART , in all its forms , has been my passion!
Traveling and living in world capitals has been the food of my soul.
Over the past decade my life has been enriched by expressing myself through the Arts !
I have been a member of the APL camera club from the start, and a member of SOYRA for the
past seven years . Several pieces were juried in the Art Aurora and exhibited at Aurora Town Hall.
My photographic vision is mainly macro. I can never get close enough …
I view photography as painting with camera and light , instead of paint and brush.
My inspiration comes from nature : my garden, distant galaxies , the depths of the ocean, cells and molecules. I have always been fascinated by details !
The appeal of texture can also be seen in my abstract acrylic works.
I have recently been experimenting with what I call «night vision acrylic», using
fluorescent paint that is revealed through the use of black light as well as Phosphorescent paint that glows in the dark !
In July 2013, I was the featured solo artist at the Skylight Gallery of the Town Hall of Aurora. The sales were donated to the U of T Tanz Centre for research in Neurodegenerative deceases a leader in the field. I will keep on supporting their research.
I participated in the Aurora Then and Now sesquicentennial photo project of the APL Camera Club with a patchwork photo version of Leslie and Vandorf area.
In May and June 2014 my ZOOM exhibit, at the Colleen Abbott Gallery of the Aurora Public Library pointed my lens to architectural details that one might not notice at first glance !
Working on the APL Camera Club, Hillary House Art at the Manor project I found inspiration ounce again in historical details .
Driving down Yonge Street in April I notice the setting sun through the windows of AUC and got my camera to capture the dismantling and unfortunate final destruction of this landmark. My photos were displayed in conjunction with the AUC ALIVE in the Aurora room of Cultural Centreuntil November 29th.
In September Expressions 4 you at the Patrick House reflected the works of 4 Aurora artists, friends.
January 2015 I once again asked the visitor to LOOK through my lens at the Newmarket Theatre.
In February and March 2015 at the McAlpine Gallery REFLEXION was the theme.
190 Mulock Drive POBox 86 Station Main, Newmarket L3Y 4W3

The sales from my works is donated to the TANZ CENTRE a leader in the field of neurodegenerative diseases research and part of University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine.
I can only hope my future will give me more such opportunities.
I plan to pursue the road my imagination guides me on .
Welcome to my world !
